Our Mission
AI Lens is a multilingual, AI-powered news aggregator that synthesizes contradictory reports on trending global topics into balanced, English-language daily updates. Our mission is to cure “first-report bias” by providing a transparent, multi-source meta-analysis of daily hot topics — giving readers a clearer picture of what is actually known versus what is merely claimed.
How AI Lens Works
AI Lens operates a three-stage pipeline:
- Crawl — Distributed, source-specific crawlers gather articles from dozens of global news outlets across the political spectrum. An AI pre-filter scores each headline for relevance before deep-scraping only the most pertinent content.
- AI Synthesis — The Gemini AI processes each batch of articles to separate verified, cross-referenced facts from attributed claims. It assigns bias indicators to sources and generates a concise meta-analysis explaining why different outlets are reporting the story differently.
- Publish — The structured output is served through a REST API and rendered in this Next.js frontend, giving you a split-panel view of facts vs. claims alongside bias badges and source references.
The Team
AI Lens was created by obit91 as an experiment in AI-assisted journalism transparency. The project is AI-powered and is currently in active development. Team details will be updated as the project grows.
